Christmas 2010 I decided to throw a Wreath Decorating party for my girlfriends! I provided embellishments, ornaments, and spools of ribbon that the ladies could use to decorate their wreaths with. I also provided the wreaths. The website that I purchased the wreaths from was www.save-on-crafts.com. They offer nice faux wreaths at reasonable prices. I picked up embellishments for the wreaths at Target, Walmart, and JoAnn’s Fabrics. I set up the embellishment table so that it would be easy access to the ladies. I chose a variety of Holiday colors like red, green, blue, silver and gold. I wanted their to be enough colors so that the girls could be creative with the color scheme of their wreath. Whether they did a Winter Wonderland theme or a Candyland theme they would have options. I set up a couple tables so the girls could have space to decorate. Glue guns and wire were provided for attaching the embellishments to the wreaths. I also provided the girls with directions on how to make different variations of bows to attach to their wreaths. I loved seeing the different wreaths that each girl created! Along with the wreaths we had a potluck style dinner. Each of the girls brought their favorite Holiday dish. I also provided Peppermint and Raspberry Lemon Drop Martinis. The evening was definitely a productive and fun one!
